The biggest motivator for me was being able to see results each day. Non-scale victories like having more energy or being able to take deeper breaths are what I focused on when times got
tough.
Working with momentum is much easier than starting from scratch and you owe it to yourself to see this through to the end. Besides, you’ve made it this far and most of the hard work is already done.
I tend to make a lot of Picadillo and Caldo Verde during a Whole30. They’re easy, filling, and total crowd-pleasers. Plus, they taste better the next day and are great for meal prep.
I have to admit, it’s rare for me to not be thinking about food. But one thing that helps make sure I don’t start thinking about food that’s off limits, is exercise. Getting in a workout, even if it’s a really quick one, recalibrates my compass and makes me want to stick with the program.
