Beef and Lamb Jerky Bark Recipe

Give your four-legged friend something to wag his tail about. This next-level canine treat combines a beef-and-lamb jerky with creamy peanut butter, coconut oil, ,roasted peanuts, and carob chips, a dog-friendly alternative to chocolate. It’s the perfect snack to help train your pup to learn basic commands, or just let them know you care.

Beef and Lamb Jerky Bark

Yield: 40 servings

Total Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

2 cups carob chips
¼ cup smooth peanut butter
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 cup I and Love and You Dog Treats, Beef & Lamb, coarsely chopped
¼ cup dry roasted peanuts, coarsely chopped

Instructions

Line a sheet tray with parchment paper. Place a heatproof bowl over a small saucepan filled with 2 inches of water. Add carob chips, peanut butter, and coconut oil. Whisk until melted
and smooth. Add half the peanuts and jerky and stir until combined. Pour melted carob-chip mixture onto parchment paper and spread evenly. Sprinkle with remaining nuts and jerky on top. Place tray in refrigerator until set. Break off into pieces and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 1 week.
