Cruelty-free certifications make it easy to spot brands that never test on animals. Look for seals from Leaping Bunny Certified, the most rigorous standard that requires U.S.- and Canadian-based brands (and their suppliers) to prohibit animal testing at all stages of product development, and additional organizations like PETA Cruelty-Free Certification and Choose Cruelty-Free. As animal welfare becomes even more important, new certifications will certainly be on the horizon.
